I guess this shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, but IGN has once again fired up its reality web series “The Next Game Boss” where they pit six indie development teams against each other in order to win a coveted spot in the IGN Open House along with $10,000 amongst other things. I’m still not sure how I feel about the show, but I’m sure it’s mostly all in good fun.
One of the familiar faces competing this year, and friend of the site, is Rob Jagnow with Lazy 8 Studios. The other companies are bit less known. Team2Bit is taking part in the festivities as well only they’re labelled as Team Fist Puncher in the show, no doubt as a way to help promote their upcoming XBLIG title: Fist Puncher. Everybody else is completely unknown to me.
Anyway, I’ve gone ahead and posted the first episode down below. If you’re at all a fan of reality TV shows then this one should make you feel right at home.
